Hello, my name is Monique Lombard and I graduated from West Coast Christian school in May of 2023. A Lot has changed since then and I am proud to say that I am now pursuing my
passion in art and animation. This year, I was accepted into The Animation School and I am soon to graduate into second year.
It has been nothing but fun, with a lot of challenging learning curves of course. Switched On Education taught me to work efficiently and effectively. Through the system I learnt patience and ways to handle challenging work loads. Switched On has a multitude of subjects that you may choose from, each one offering a unique learning experience.
Despite the workload, I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the various career options available and eventually found the one that best suits me. I will be forever grateful for my years in West Coast Christian School and for the teachers that taught me important life lessons. Not only have they taught me important skills but also Christian morals that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I want to end on saying that no matter how difficult the challenge is, give it your all.
Learning new things can be daunting and difficult, but you’ll soon look back and not only be proud of the work you’ve completed, but your determination and perseverance through the hardships that come with it.
Here is one of my projects I completed. Learning 3D modeling for the first time and programs I never knew existed was both rigorous and time consuming.The project took 6 months from planning to completion and I am happy to say that I stuck through with it till the end
